Introduction

Welcome to Chatterdillo, a speech and language development tool for primary schools. These Terms and Conditions govern the use of Chatterdillo's services, including our desktop web app and related offerings (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.

Acceptable Use

Intended Purpose: The Service is intended to provide educational speech and language content, practice activities, basic target-setting & recommendation tools, and performance dashboards to support tracking of educational goals and outcomes.

Unacceptable Use: Users must not use the Service as a substitute for professional support from qualified Speech and Language Therapists or healthcare professionals. In-app screeners and recommendations are intended for educational triage. Hacking, data scraping, or any intellectual property theft is strictly prohibited.

Disclaimer: Chatterdillo is an educational tool only and is not a medical device, diagnostic service, or clinical treatment. It does not provide diagnoses, medical advice, or replace qualified healthcare professionals. Consult SLTs or doctors for clinical needs.

Safeguarding Responsibilities:

Schools and users remain fully responsible for safeguarding supervision and all statutory obligations. The platform does not replace or assume any safeguarding roles. All content is educational and is intended to be used under the supervision of qualified school staff and/or parent/adult.

Registration and Accounts

Users are responsible for safeguarding their account information. Chatterdillo is not liable for unauthorised access to accounts.

Liability Limitation

Chatterdillo is provided "as is" and serves as a supplementary tool. Chatterdillo is not responsible for learner outcomes. Users are advised to seek other more comprehensive Speech and Language Therapy services in addition to using our platform.

Intellectual Property

Ownership: Chatterdillo and its licensors own all intellectual property related to the Service.

Restrictions: Users may not copy, distribute, or otherwise use the materials from the Service for any purpose other than personal use.

Payment and Refunds

If the Service fails to improve learner outcomes, a refund may be issued at the sole discretion of Chatterdillo. Payment can be made by bank transfer or via GoCardless (Direct Debit). We do not accept cheques. All payments must be made in accordance with the invoice due date unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Termination Policy

Accounts and related data will be retained for 6 months after the last interaction and will then be deleted, unless a deletion request is made by the user.

Dispute Resolution

All disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms and Conditions will be resolved through arbitration in the United Kingdom.
