What is Chatterdillo?

Chatterdillo helps schools identify speech and language needs early, deliver evidence-based interventions and track progress, all in one simple platform, designed by speech and language therapists.

Flexible routines

Our Story

Schools are increasingly expected to support children with speech, language and communication needs, despite already being stretched for time and resources.

Before qualifying as a Speech and Language Therapist, our co-founder Amy worked as a teaching assistant and experienced these challenges first-hand. She saw passionate staff who wanted to help but lacked the time, specialist knowledge and practical tools to do so consistently.

After qualifying as an SLT, she realised those barriers still existed. Together, we created Chatterdillo to give schools an easier way to identify needs early, deliver targeted interventions and monitor progress without increasing staff workload.

Flexible routines

Our Mission

At Chatterdillo, we believe every child deserves access to high-quality speech and language support, and educators deserve high-quality, affordable tools that respects their time to deliver support with confidence and clarity.

Today, Chatterdillo helps schools provide earlier, more consistent speech and language support, giving staff the confidence and ability to intervene sooner, helping more children reach their potential. 🌱

Our Impact

Our pilot programmes have shown Chatterdillo enables staff to identify and support more children each term while reducing workload by up to three hours per week.

Schools have also reported high pupil engagement and meaningful improvements in communication. In one pilot, a child with selective mutism began speaking independently after using the platform.

Based on our pilot programmes, schools could support 30+ additional pupils each year while saving each member of staff up to three working weeks annually.
